The Friends are committed to providing the best outdoor classrooms and demonstration gardens that an environmental studies magnet should have.
These amenities were designed and are maintained by adult volunteers and Cold Spring students and supported by specific grants or unrestricted donations to the Friends.
Taking inspiration from the visionary leader Bill Strickland, who believes that beauty is transformative to even those from the most difficult circumstances, the Friends also seek to surround the School with carefully designed, well maintained landscapes.
We aim to provide first-class amenities so the children feel like first-class citizens and rise to those aspirations.
